This is my project for the cgsociety challenge steampunk. I had some problems to send the final image before the deadline. I have created a Matte Painting of Atlantis with Steampunk style. The modeling, textures and lights are in Softimage XSI. And lots of work in photoshop to paint the final result. Inspired a bit by the revolutions with a dramatic touch of modern war.
The modeling, the textures and the lighting are in Softimage XSI.
The picture has been taking into photoshop to fit in some pictures and also to peint atmosphere and details.
This image is ready to be in a projection camera in geometry.
